How To Add New Medium and New Substrate

In the Artwork editing screen there is an option for Medium and one for Substrate.

Medium

The Medium option has 10 available choices, available by clicking on the down arrow to the right of Medium.


If your Medium is not listed, here are the steps to add a new medium.

Once the new Medium is added it will remain as an additional choice in the drop down options.

  • FASO account control panel
  • click on Artwork icon  (upper row)

  • click on the image (left column) or the word Edit (right column)
  • scroll down to Medium
  • click on Add
  • enter new medium
  • click on Save New Medium
  • Save Changes (when you have completed editing image info)

Using the Mirabello template, the medium will not be displayed on the website unless a substrate is also selected.


Substrate

The Substrate is the surface or material on which the art is created.

The Substrate option has 3 built-in choices, available by clicking on the down arrow to the right of Medium.

If your Substrate is not listed, here are the steps to add a new medium.

Once the new Medium is added it will remain as an additional choice in the drop down options.

  • FASO account control panel
  • click on Artwork icon  (upper row)

  • click on the image (left column) or the word Edit (right column)
  • scroll down to Substrate
  • click on Add
  • enter new Substrate
  • click on save new Substrate
  • Save Changes (when you have completed editing image info)

Manage Mediums and Substrates that you Add

To manage any new Medium and/or Substrate you add, click on either

  • Manage Mediums
  • Manage Substrates

in right column.
