Artful Mail Does Not Function Well on Internet Explorer

If you use Internet Explorer as your browser and wish to use Artful Mail for a newsletter, when you login to the newsletter software, and click on New Newsletter, you'll see this message:

ArtfulMail BETA does not support Internet Explorer at this time

Please try again with either Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari. They all work well and are free.

Microsoft Edge, the replacement for IE, is also a good alternative.

We do not recommend using IE for editing your FASO website, especially when working on your newsletters in Artful Mail.

The great news is that you can use multiple browsers on your computer!

Despite how excellent browsers have gotten, website consumption is such a complex matter these days that every one of them will encounter particular sites that won't display correctly. It’s always a good idea to have more than one browser installed. They're all free, fast, and compliant, but each of today's Web browser choices has its own particular capabilities and features that may best suit your needs.

If you wish to continue with Internet Explorer, click the link below the warning that says Proceed.

Just be aware that things may not work as intended. For example, you may find that when you type in text, your text will not save, among other issues you may encounter. Our apologies but we cannot correct usability issues with Internet Explorer.

If you are using Internet Explorer (IE) and you are unable to login to the Newsletter software, the issue is most likely due to a Privacy Setting in Internet Explorer.

If you wish to continue using IE, there are two ways to resolve the issue in IE:

Option One

  1. in Internet Explorer click Tools
  2. Click Internet Options
  3. Click Privacy tab
  4. Change the setting to Default or Medium
  5. Click OK

Option 2

You may need to add the setting in TWO places.

  1. in Internet Explorer click Tools
  2. Click Internet Options
  3. Click Privacy tab
  4. Click Sites
  5. add the site exactly as follows: data.fineartstudioonline.com
  6. Click Allow
The large text box should now contain the site 'data.fineartstudioonline.com' and read 'Always Allow'
  7. Click OK
  8. Click OK

  9. in Internet Explorer click Tools
  10. Click Internet Options
  11. On the Security tab, click Trusted Sites
  12. Click Sites
  13. For Add this website to the zone, type in data.fineartstudioonline.com
