Blog Not Showing Comments

The Require Email Verification of Comments Option default is set to No.

When someone adds a comment to your blog post, the comment will automatically appear on your blog. This is the default procedure as long as you have not changed the default setting.

If comments are not showing under a Blog post, the most likely cause is that the Require Email Verification of Comments Option is set to Yes and the user did not verify their comment.

When Require Email Verification of Comments Option is set to Yes, verification is necessary to prevent spam from showing on your Blog.

Here's how to manually verify a comment:

  • from FASO Control Panel
  • click Blog icon (upper row)
  • click Edit next to the blog entry in question
  • scroll down, click Go to Comments next to Visitor Comments
  • click Edit to the right of the comment
  • for Comment Verified click for Yes (so it displays)
  • click Save Changes
  • repeat for each Comment
