Enable Fonts in Full Screen Mode

Also called the Full Screen Composer, this offers a cornucopia of editing options

PLEASE SEE THIS FAQ: Font Changes Require Custom Work

FASO Websites are designed to look great with harmonious fonts that contribute to the richness of the design. The fonts are controlled by a technology called CSS, Cascading Style Sheets.

There was a font selector in our Full Screen editor which attempted to override CSS. Sometimes the two conflicted with each other yielding unpredictable not to mention frustrating results for the artist.

If you need to change fonts, it's best to do it on a global level with CSS.

Having said that, you still can enable the font selector in the full screen composer, as long as you are aware that due to the conflict with the built-in CSS, FASO won't be able to support any issues with it.

Here's how:

  • Login to your FASO Control Panel
  • Click the Gear icon (upper right hand corner)
  • Click Account Settings
  • Click Labs
  • Check the box to the left of This account displays font options in the full screen composer
  • scroll down
  • Save Changes

Go to the page you wish to edit, for example the About the Artist page

  • click on Full Screen Mode button (bottom left) or screen editing icon (upper right)

  • click on Save and use old editor (top row)

  • click on arrow to show 2nd row of tools
  • select / highlight text
  • select your preferred font family
  • click on one of the Save options (top right)
