- Open the Control Panel window on your Windows computer.
- Locate and click the Mail option.
The Mail Setup dialog box will appear on the screen. - Click the Show Profile… button.
- In the Profile List page, click the Add button.
- Enter the new profile name in the given field.
- Click OK button.
The Add Account dialog box will open. - Select the Manual setup or additional server types option by clicking the radio button beside it.
- Click the Next button.
- Select the POP or IMAP option. **(IMAP Recommended)
- Provide the required information in the given fields.
- Enter the email recipient name you wish to see in the From field in the Your Name text area.
- Select the IMAP option as the account type from the given drop-down menu.
- After entering all information in the given fields, click More Settings.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
- Enter the port numbers for IMAP and SMTP and click the OK button.
- Incoming Mail Server:
SSL server name- secure.emailsrvr.com
SSL port number- 993
- Outgoing mail server:
SMTP:
SSL server name: secure.emailsrvr.com
SSL port number: 465 - Click Test Account Settings on the POP3 and IMAP Account Settings dialog box.
- Wait for the Test Account Settings status to display.
- If both the Log onto incoming mail server (IMAP) and Send test e-mail message statuses are Completed, click the Close button on the Test Account Settings dialog box.
- Go to the Profile List page.
- Select the Always to use this profile option by clicking the radio button beside it.
- From the drop-down menu, select the newly created profile and click the OK button.
- Wait for the on-going process to complete. Once it is completed, your domain e-mail account will have been successfully configured in the Outlook application.
- To check it, open the Outlook application on your Windows computer and send a test email message.
