How to Avoid Copy / Paste Issues

Line Spacing Issues

When you type text in another program (especially Microsoft Word) and then paste it into your FASO Control Panel, it brings in hidden code that can cause formatting problems (ie headaches).

We highly recommend that you use an application that removes all the formatting first.

If you already created the text in Word, please copy it into a Notepad (PC) or TextEdit (Mac) doc first. Then copy and paste from there.

This allows the global formatting of the FASO system to take over and make sure everything is consistent.

Then re-apply any formatting needed using the text editing icons at the top of editing screen after you've pasted the format-free text.

For step by step instruction, see this FAQ:
Instructions on how to clean up an incorrectly formatted page.
