Despite the changes and developments in Internet security, there is always potential for vulnerability. This applies to every site on the Internet, not just FASO. This is not meant to be alarming nor should it prevent you from having a website.

FASO was developed by a qualified professional with a degree in Computer Information Systems. The highest levels of security available have been implemented to provide a secure environment for your personal information.

FASO is hosted on enterprise level servers that employ enterprise level encryption with a multi-tiered layer of firewall protection. While not impossible, it is pretty unlikely that the FASO system will be breached. Stored information contained within the FASO environment is protected by the same technology and encryption employed by the majority of banks and financial institutions.

Another aspect that should provide an extra layer of comfort is the level of monitoring and logging we have implemented. If someone were to attempt to hack into our system, we would have admin alerts going off immediately.

Website Security

For security we have our firewall set up with CloudFlare and incorporate an extensive number of firewall rules that limit and/or block certain traffic sources as well as other security systems that are highly monitored. All passwords are encrypted within the database and the credit card information is stored on a separate database table with the card information being encrypted as well with the same type of industry level encryption as banks and other financial institutions.

It doesn't report the uptime/downtime but you can go through the incidents to see we have a very high level of uptime. Our platform is setup with a redundant array of cloud based servers on a rotation basis so if one goes down, we can switch over to another on the fly to minimize downtime.
