Here's a Tip
If you want to keep the original date for the blog post, it can take a few times of saving your new blog post before the correct date saves. If this is important to you, you can change it : Just Save Changes, Edit, if it's still today's date, correct that & Save Changes again. Sorry that it's stubborn that way.
