A cached page is a snapshot or a version of a web page saved at a specific time and stored by a web server as a backup copy.  

Checking a cached version of a page is useful if the original page has been removed by the site owner.

Once in awhile someone will overwrite their page content in error, losing the content that they did not intend to delete.

The only way to recall the content of the page is to track down a cached page of the site. 

NOTE: Prior to 2024 this used to be fairly easy to do. As of 2024, the view cached pages feature is longer offered by google or other search engines.

Plus there is no guarantee that a cached page will come up!

• WaybackMachine is still a great resource for finding a cached page.
• In google use this: 
  cache:https://www.jsorollaart.com/my-story
  replacing the url (https://www.jsorollaart.com/my-story) with the url of the page you are searching for.
