Change Image Orientation
Digital cameras and mobile devices tend to lock in specific data info into single images. For example, if a vertical image is photographed holding the camera or mobile device in a horizontal (landscape) position, the data gets locked into image. The image then gets uploaded in the horizontal format it was photographed in, even if you see the image in the correct, vertical format on your device.
When photographing the art, most cameras allow you to change the camera's orientation from Landscape to Portrait which will correct the problem in the future.
To best way to correct this issue across the board is to rotate the image correctly in a photo-editing software (like Photoshop or Paint) prior to uploading.
You can also rotate the uploaded image from inside the FASO control panel, using our photo-editing software, as follows:
NOTE: It can take a few minutes for a newly edited image to show on your website.
NOTE: If you posted an image on your blog and need to rotate the image, you have to 1st remove the image from your blog, then follow the steps to rotate the image. Once the image is in the correct orientation, re-add the image to your blog post.
