How do I add an image to my newsletter?

General Info

Images can only be inserted into Image content boxes. They cannot be added to a text content box.

There are several options for displaying images.

  • a single image
  • two images, side by side
  • image and text, side by side

This screenshot shows the available Image Content blocks:

You can add or remove elements/content blocks in any of the 10 templates.

Some artists start with Template 1 and build as they go.

All Newsletter Templates include image blocks in the content area except for Template 1.

Add Image to an Existing Image Block

  • log into FASO account Control Panel
  • click Dragonfly/Newsletter icon  (upper row)
  • click on New Newsletter
     - click on one of the 10 available templates
     - follow the prompts in the template
    OR
click on Drafts, click Edit (to the right of the draft)
  • click on the image block (where it says Insert Your Image or Artwork Here) or click on the Blue Pencil editing icon (top right of image block).
  • in the Select an image pop up screen, click on an image to select it

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want an inserted image to link to the Zoom View of the artwork on your website, be sure to use the Artworks tab when selecting your image.

If you insert an image using the other tabs (All, Images, Search, Upload), the image in your newsletter may link to the image, but not via your website.

You can see the Image Link Url when you are inserting the image. If it includes the text, workszoom, it will create a link to that artwork on your website.

Example:
http://data.fineartstudioonline.com/dataviewer.asp?keyvalue=13459&page=workszoom&subkeyvalue=2509282
